well since you have stock ballasts you have to get a D2S bulb... Go to ECS tuning, I had great luck with the ZiZa bulbs, they aren't as expensive either and come in a pair. They were a bit brighter by eye.

Brightest are going to be Philips or Osram 4300k bulbs. These are OEM bulbs and will put out the most lumens for a 35w HID setup.

As they age the Philips bulbs will turn more blue/white, while the Osrams will turn a little pink/white.

I just get my bubls on eBay. If you find "Autobahn" bulbs, they should be around $40. I've been running a pair (6000k) for over 2 years with no problems.

I might go with ECS since I see they have the city light kit for sale.

Which bulbs did you purchase? 4500k? 6000k?

I got GE nighthawk H7's and they are nice, but quite pricey. A cheap alternative is some Hella 80W H7 replacements, no fancy coloring, just higher wattage, usually available for about $12 (here anyway) each. compare that at around $40-$50 for a set of bulbs with a color coating, i think its a good deal. just keep an eye on your harness, the chance of it melting becomes very real with higher wattage bulbs.

4500K is going to give you the best visibility with a yelowish tint, similar to the factory bulbs. For safety and function, this is your best bet.

6000K is going to give you a little bling (bluish tint similar to OEM Acura HID's) but usable light output is decreased. I personally had a difficult time seeing the lines on the highway when the road was wet with 6000K bulbs, other than that, they were okay.

Ebay also have 5000K d2s bulbs by Philips for around 60 shipped. Very well worth looking into. Save a bunch of money.

Hey Jesse, you gotta let 'em know that you need HID bulbs and not H7. Get some PIAA's, they're only like $500. Hehe!? Seriously though, wasn't there another thread with a dealer selling some good bulbs for us? Forgot where tho.
