    GIAC-X 0-60 Runs (Stock vs. Flash) Results

    Alright...SO I've done a 0-60 run in both stock and pump mode and here are the results.

    Stock:
    Air Temp: Mid 40's
    60': 4.35 seconds
    0-60: 7.80 seconds

    Pump(Flashed):
    Air Temp: Upper 30's
    60': 2.34 seconds
    0-60: 5.85 seconds

    The stock time was done with about a quarter tanks and flashed run was done with about half a tank of gas.

    I did both runs using the iPhone app, Dynolicious. Seems to be pretty accurate.

    Looks like I'll have to work on the launch a bit as that 60 foot time isn't terrible, but should be closer to 2 or high 1's.

    Yeah they have. I'm not sure how accurate the program on my iPhone is at recording that. But the big thing is the difference in the 0-60 times.

    Re: GIAC-X 0-60 Runs (Stock vs. Flash) Results

    Sounds about right. Over the holidays (and cold temps) a friend and I played around with his G-Tech accelerometer and got similar 0-60 results. The A4 2.0T Quattro 6spd in REVO "stock" mode pulled 6.7 to 7.1 seconds 0-60 while in REVO 7-5-5 it dropped to 5.5 to 5.8 seconds. The A4 is stock aside from the REVO flash. There was no opportunity to do 1/4 mile runs due to heavy traffic.

    And for really big grins, on the one decent non-snow day with dry roads, we took out the Porsche 930 (Ruf modified, not stock). The 930 on several runs ran 0-60 between 3.1 to 3.5 seconds between the two of us with plenty of traction issues at launch (tires too cold). Not bad for a 20yr old car with over 100,000 hard miles.

    nice times. I think with the BT Kit on my car it should be safe to say 4.5 to 60 is attainable.

    What RPMs are you launching the car at? That first 60 foot time can't be correct you could run faster that that to 60 feet. In drag racing your launch and first 60 foot time really makes up the rest of your time.
