    got my brakes done

    so I had new rotors and pads put on my car and when I got it back from the shop my abs light now stays on and the brake light blinks. wtf did they do to my car?

    They might not of cycled the ABS module.

    Are you sure it's the ABS light and not the brake pad wear sensor? If they replaced your front pads with pads that don't have sensors, it would stay on permanently unless you short it out.

    what do you mean cycle the abs module? I am almost positive its the abs light and not the pad wear sensor cause its yellow and says "abs" and how would I be able to check if the pads they put on have the said sensors you are talking about? where would they be located?

    Look to see if the sensor is hooked into the calliper.

    The sensors are in the front pads only, on the inner side. It should be pretty obvious if there is a connector there that is not plugged in to anything.

    Make sure they topped it off with brake fluid. Low fluid can cause the light.
