Where do you guys buy/mount your tires?

I'm thinking of buying some all seasons. I was thinking Tirerack, but the shipping delay is too long... I want to see if anyone has them local. I'm looking for a set of 255/35/19's. My summers grab every little rock on the road, driving me nuts!

I personally get my tires and wheels mounted/balanced at Interstate Tire and Automotive in Burien, however its not close to where I live, its my best friends shop and they own a tire mounting maching thats worth more than most of our cars lol. Never have to worry about a scratched wheel.

I use Americas Tires^^^^. They seem to be very reasonable on their prices and services. Im sorry but Les Schwab is way over priced on there tires and wheels. But Les Schwab does have good Alignment service.

I buy my tires at Discount Tire as I have a friend that is a manager at one of the stores up here, but mount/balance them myself, as I work at a dealership and I know its done right when I do it.

Les Schwab sucks.... 20% mark-up and usually a whole bunch of high school kids who work there who could careless if they forget to tighten all the wheels down or scratch, chip a wheel. Yes if they mess up they pay for it and replace it, but its a huge hassle. I've had 2 friends who have had wheels fly off after leavning their local Les Schwab... I personally had a wheel scuffed and had to wait until a new one was shipped out, etc.

I dunno what kind of mark up at Les Schwab but there prices are ridiculous. For my stock 17' way back in the day they tried to sell me there "cheapest set" of tires to me for almost $800 balanced and put on. I told them they are smoking. Maybe like $400-$500 would be a little more reasonable.

If you have connections then maybe ya, I mean i have nothing against their workers. In fact they are quite friendly people and customer service is quite good, but its the prices on goods is what kills it.

cannot beat free. i know about there prices. springs for a honda they wanted 599 for the install. other shops will do spring installs for $80 bucks.

before i got the neigbor hook up costco was about 10-13 bucks per tire. I just made note of any scratches or nicks before and after pick up.

I get my tires from tire rack. I would recomend Skips Wheel Works in Beaverton for your mounting needs. They do an awesome job with mounting and balancing and they can do wheel repairs as well. Most of my customers all have high dollar wheels so the utmost care needs to be delt with. If I had a tire mounting machine I would do it myself but since I can't I only trust them.

Worked at good year tire out in gresham over summer break. The people there are VERY careful when touching any rims.

Charged $12.95 mount and balance per tire. Just make sure Ken wont be touching your car if you go.
