    Injectors?

I've noticed a few people have been swapping out their injectors... what performance would you gain with the stock k03?

    current mods:

    -AWE TB Exhaust
    -REVO Stage II
    -Neuspeed P-flo Intake
-blah blah blah, all the other little bolt ons.

so my question is... performance gains from injectors? how much is the gas mileage decrease? goods/bads? brand of injectors, cc's, etc to get? price?

any info/advice/tips would be great, just want to see if its worth the money on just a K03.... im leaning towards not worth it, tell me otherwise. Thanks in advance

    Re: Injectors?

Coming from a b5 perspective you can't just throw on injectors, you need to remap your ecu....like a tune that requires bigger injectors. I can't imagine your car running right with injectors and no software to go along with it let alone any performance gains.

(and I don't mean your current software because it's probably designed for your stock injectors)

I would think with the FSI engine you would need to run a high flow fuel pump with injector combo. Currently I think APR and AWE are the only companies offering this. Would invetigate further with these companies on the performance gains with thier software.

i saw the first part of this thread and was thinking exactly what you wrote. I think you'd reduce your mpg [for sure]. you'd get major help from the DP/intake/stage 2 map. but with injectors and a tuned map, i dont think you'd have the HP to actually have them working like they should. stock injectors should run you just fine on stage 2+

^^thanks guys, I was thinking the same thing, waste of time and money, was just curious cause I see some people on here who have done stage 2 and swapped the injectors and it never made any sense to me on why.
