any suggestions? i checked my wheels to make sure the lugs were tight all was good.

when i had it on jacks last night i noticed a lot of play in the driver's side cv axle (the inner cv joint) is this normal? could this be causing my vibration when i coast? i feel a vibration at high speeds or heavy acceleration but never when i am coasting to a stop.

Are you kidding? My car has a very small vibration due to my stiffer mounts, 90% of girls who've been in my car have brought it up and said they like it.

With that said, you have an entirely different issue. Good luck, I'm not of much use.

Did you buy new suspension/springs, or just lower your current set up?

pirate make sure you have no bubbles on the tire. and if not that then check the control arm bushings.

no. i have been debating on getting some. but if the wheel wasnt on straight wouldnt it always vibrate and not just on acceleration and coasting?

Re: went lower now i vibrate while coasting.

hopefully getting it ailigned friday. i have tomorrow off. i'm going to jack it back up and see what the deal is. i may also be getting some hubcentric rings from a fourtitude member.

i should just replace all my suspension stuff, control arms, bushings, cv's, tie rod ends, etc. she's got 93k with all original suspension except for the coilovers and the driver's side cv axle i replaced a month ago.

lol love the pic with the remote. car looks good with the drop.

ive seen inner cv axles cause a hard clunking noise on initial accel and decel, but not while cruising. does it only do it once you let off the gas, or does it keep going as you coast? if you arent busy on friday afternoon, stop by my shop after 5:30pm. i can throw it up on a lift and we can check it out.

yeah it keeps doing it while i coast. if i give it gas it goes away. i'll swing by friday after i get off work. i just ordered a left cv axle and some motor mounts. i replaced the right cv axle about a month ago.

none at all, i still haven't gone in to have an alignment done since i dropped it even though i know i really should... and it still rides smooth with no vibrations, and without pulling to either side

I'd still get one, I've heard that even if it doesn't pull or have any noticable effects you still are probably wearing your tires unevenly.

I got mine aligned since I had new tires as well, if you have older tires though I would just get it aligned once I got new ones.
