Looks like I'm all by myself... we could meet at Victoria Gardens and leave from there, open to suggestions I just don't want to head there all by myself.

    Re: Rancho caravan?

Alex, establish a pre-meet location. and provide everyone with a specific address.

Audi scene in the IE isnt so big, but it'll be nice to convoy with local people, who already know eachother.

I know you said VG, but be more specific, or you'll end up losing everyone,
Ex. "The Hat restaurant at Victoria gardens".......

Hello there my friend long time no see. The s4 wouldnt go into reverse very easily so they thought they might have to pull the tranny but all is well they just pulled out the shifter and fixed the linkage in the gears works great i just picked it up. I was so nervous just like a family member was in the hospital or something.

Majority of my friends are'nt goin. We were goin to meet at the Ontario Monday meet location off of Milliken Ave and Inland Center drive.... Its the Staples parking lot. Its a good location since the entrance to the 10Fwy is right there as well as the South 15fwy. Now, there are two ways of gettin to Irvine. From the 91fwy, we can take the 241 Toll road (obviously quicker) or 55 fwy to the 5fwy which is the longer way around. Since its about a 45 min - 1hr drive from Ontario (via the toll roads), i figure we leave no later than 2 pm since the meet starts at 3 pm. I like your idea too.... so it doesn't matter where we meet, as long as we settle on a location and time.

    Re: Rancho caravan?

The Staple parking lot on Milliken would be a much wiser choice. Mainly because
    1. less stop lights heading to the freeway.
    2. less traffic. V-Gardens is a B
    3. less people. people have the right of way. they can and will break a "caravan" lol
    4. less idiots you attract who think its cool to rev, and showoff.
    5. and you wont have to deal with cops/ security around the Gardens

    Re: Shi-Fu Jay

You pretty much nailed it, a lot easier for a caravan. BTW, there a few restaruants around the parkin lot like Arbys, Wendy's, Subway, Daphne's (i think thats the name of a greek eatery) and others. Gas station is within reach right in the corner. I figure we meet around 1245 to 1 pm for those that want to eat. So ya'll down for taking the toll roads? Also, the max. cruise speed will be no more than 75 mph. Im still breaking in the new motor in the car.

That's it. Usually there's a whole pack of Mini Coopers and a few other euros.

we left before that. and I barely made it. I was gonna turn into the parking lot, but saw everyone already on the street heading toward the 10 freeway. so I jetted out too.
I ended up getting so behind, I just set the cruise control at 65 mph, and spent the long drive with me and my cuddy buddy
