Sweet time and a good run. Jay sure does know how to bang through the gears like a pro. Makes me want to get my car running and broken in quick so I can see what she will do at Sac Town.

did not use meth. pulled the fuse. it's actually not good to run the meth with the race gas. it tends to over octane and makes it actually slower with my experience with it. i tried that at another time and results sucked. c16 was plenty enough.

Re: my new times with JHM

I enjoyed driving your car JEO. Your car hooks harder than mine, we just need to get that driveline stiffened up, too much darn slop. The 034 snub cage with our spacer kit and the Poly DTS mod should go a long way. Possibly an Apikol Diff mount too to help out in the rear. I think with that and once we get the darn ER shrouds in we can get some more out of it and I can consider powershifting it. With that slop it felt nasty the one time I tried on a 3-4 and almost felt like it slowed down.

    Here is the timeslip.

Hey JEO, was it 3 or 4 11.5 passes we had?? How many 11 second passes total? You got the slips.

I think the RS4 parts (cams, intake and t-body) do help as well as the fact that I had open dumps and PinoyS4 had full exhaust. Depending on the cat back you can pick up 2 to 4 mph just by opening up the dumps. My car would have woke up more if I had better heads than gasket matched stock heads since they are still way more shrouded than RS4 or 2.8L heads.

Here is a picture I put together of the head comparison a while ago. My heads are the ones in the center. I am actually switching to unported 2.8l heads now among other things. :)

So Jay your running 2.8 heads with NO port match? What did you do about the valvetrain specifically, I'm very curious as I have my 2.8L head sitting and wondering what exactly to do with it? supertech?

No he's saying he has stock heads ported to fit the RS4 intake mani, and that he would be much better off with the 2.8 heads, which are a direct fit to the RS4 intake mani as well. If you plan on using those 2.8 heads you have to at least replace the exhaust valves and I've heard you should use the cam tensioners off the 2.7 heads along with the valve cover. And if you plan on revving the piss out of it you'll need new springs and retainers. Hope this helps.
