On my drive to work this morning

I came upon a car going under the speed limit and changed lanes to pass him about 10 car lengths before I got to him. Immediatly after I passed him he pulls out directly behind me and rides my ass with his high beams. When I change lanes to slow down to get the moron and his brights out of my rear view he promptly swerves over and takes the next exit. Long story short has anyone ever hooked up some old projectors in either the taillights or the corners of the back window to remind people it is a dick move to bright others for no reason? and no, i didnt have my highs on him and I wasent speeding.

do the tail light mod and then turn on your rear fogs to trick them into thinking your braking and then you dont lose cruise control either

Well I was not planning on hanging them from the sides of the car. I was thinking cased and flush with the rear window so looks stock from the outside, but when they are on you see them through the tint. Im just fed up with the aformentioned rednecks high beaming me for no reason other than I have stock HID Low beams.

Someone in Colorado got charged with attempted murder when he brake checked someone and caused an accident, so I avoid that one.

I've noticed more and more that people have serious issues if you even just pass them or merge into their lanes. It happens quite often for me and I make it a habbit to make sure there is ample room and even signal. Unfortunately most drivers seem to feel that public roads are just an extension of their personal drive ways.

But yes, people do strange things and react differently to different road situations. I wouldn't go around hitting the brakes or even flicking them off, unless you're planning on putting some serious road between you and them there's too many nuts out there these days. Who know what's going on in their life or in their head to do something so petty.

Cut them up and go real slow, if they try to pass you up stay in front switch lanes with them. i do it all the time. damn bastards can't tell what HIDs are.

Good luck with proving they brake checked you. Happened to a friend while we were caravaning to a meet. Even with 6 witnesses to what happend the other driver just said she saw something in the road. Its your fault for following to closely.

when ppl tailgate me, i slow down... my rear window is tinted as dark as legally allowed in pa.. so the highbeams dont bother me... i usually am doing the speed limit or higher so if someone is tailgating me it is usualy just to be an asshole... so i will slow to the speed limit.. if we get to a passing zone, i speed up... either after 10 miles they will get the point, or i will get to my destination and will have ultimately won the battle. when was the last time a guy in a honda sped up so you couldnt pass him??

True, true. I used to get pissed as hell at people like this but I've gotten to a point where I feel like its not even worth it. There are just too many people like this in Jersey. I just had a 3 series pass me on a double yellow the other day and I was 10mph over the speed limit. I though about flooring it and not letting him pass but then I figured it was not worth getting into an accident...

That happened to me once before.....next time it happens adjust your side mirrors straight back so it reflects the light right back at him. It's just as blinding as being in front of high beams. Sometimes people's crazy reactions can't be justified. Good thing he didn't pull out in front of you as you were going by.
