4.2 FSI V8 for 2001 A4?

i was told that it is possible to swap my1.8t for a 4.2 fsi v8. has anyone ever seen this accomplished or know that it can be done?

Just at the shop: My A4 with a gt S4 engine, Rwd A4 wtich was a 2.8 now swapped to 1.8T, 92 coupe with 2.7 running a single gt35, Audi 90 with a 1.8t swap, 1971 beetle running a k03 turbo...

I'll ask Mike if he swapped a v8 somewhere...

How much does an V8 engine swap usually cost? I'm asking because i was going to build my 1.8 or just buy a 2.7 but if that would cost roughly the same amount then i might just do that
