SilverVision side marker bulbs

Got my SilverVision bulbs in the mail today - all the way from Merry Ol' England. They'll supposedly take the amber glow out of the side marker lens of my ecodes.

They threw in the blue citylight wedge bulbs for free. I think I'll stick with my clear bulbs - the blue might look a little tacky.

the amber glow when the lights are off during the day?

i think the blue would look good with HIDs

Yeah - when there's no power going to them, they should be silver, so there's no amber color to make the reflector appear amber. When you turn the blinker on, they light up amber.

sorry to thread jack but why dont you just spray your amber bulbs with silver engine paint works the same way..thats what i did to mine and uhohquattros this past weekend..

still in the wrapper - I'm too lazy to pull out my headlights. Will probably do it this weekend. I hope I won't have to re-aim.

This will work, but you have to make sure you're painting a bulb the has tinted glass, not a bulb that has tint put on the outside of the glass. If it has tint put on it, the paint may cause the tint to lift.

I have the Silverstar turn signals, which are very similar to these. Look silver when off. Amber when on.
