Need ipod hookup and CONTINUE my xm radio

ok, I bought a GROM audio iPod hookup a few months ago but even though I was told it wouldn't kill my xm radio it did, even with the extra cable they sold me. SO, I am on the market for another connection that won't make me lose my xm radio and still have the ability to use the steering wheel controls and ipod as normal to select a song/artist/album without disconnecting the cable from it. By the way, this is for a 2004 A6 with Bose system.
    Any help is appreciated
Also....anyone wanna buy my GROM Audio hookup??

see recent thread below (and check AW forum's "electronics") -- you won't get data unless MMI; XM should not be problem with either Neo or Dice.
