HELP how to remove rearview mirror?

didnt you have to turn it something like 90 degrees counterclockwise and then pull off?

i did the pull once on my old truck and a piece of the window came off

Yes. that is the correct way to remove the mirror.

50% but since i have a beige interior it isn't all that dark, i'll post pics when the car is done now back to the body shop because some dufus at the tire shop cracked my skirts adn another gouged my door handle.

How do you remove just the mirror part itslf, not the part stuck to the windshield. I have a manual mirror. Thanks

If you turn the mirror portion to the 12 o'clock position and pull, it will come off the bracket.

I realize I'm bumping an old ass thread and that this member probably no longer needs assistance in this matter, but I'm replying so when someone searches the forum for this topic, they can get there answer right here.

^^Lol it was a serious question, I had no clue how to remove that junk. I couldn't grasp the idea that our cars had ONE straight forward and universal part installed from the factory.

I don't know about you guys, but every time I've searched the forum and found a thread asking the EXACT question to which I seek an answer, the answer is never there. Once the OP figures it out, almost never does he come back and post his findings.
