    Re: Magnaflow 14830

From the short videos on Google, it sounds very hollow. There was no videos of that particular muffler on an Audi, but IMO, go with what's proven -- the Magnaflow 14815 and the 14816. Personally, I like the 14816.

    Re: Magnaflow 14830

That's why I posted...I've found alot of conflicting information. Some say too loud, some say too quiet. Nothing has been from a good Audi source...i'd rather hear it from someone on here over someone who has a 92 Talon TSI...know what I mean.

    Re: Magnaflow 14830

Well, here is my video. I just got it done today, custom from the cat back, I actually saved the stock resonator, which is why it sounds tame, but that's what I wanted. It's the 14830, and it sits fantastically in the bumper cut-out.

    Re: Magnaflow 14830

i have a magnaflow (dunno which one, 2.5" in dual 2.25" out. With no other resonator and it drones so much. 2.5" piping from dp back, i would like to add a resonator to kill the drone.

    Re: Magnaflow 14830

Yeah, once I saw the new resonator they were going to put on, basically a straight pipe, I just decided to keep the stock one. If you do end up putting the stock one back on, there won't be any drone for sure.
