04 S4 Navigation disc

Not sure if this is in the right place, but can someone tell me what disc i need for Illinois for navigation for an 04 S4, and if i might be able to find one on this forum?? many thanks

most likely the dealership but they are on cheap. my dads navigation disc in his envoy got scrached and we had to buy a new one from the dealer. it cost 250.00. thats at a gmc dealership. it will probably be around 350 at an audi dealership

They are $200 from the dealer. Buck up and buy one if you need it. You can't copy it.

People copy the RNS-E DVD dual layers ALL the time...

Those are on regular CDs.

You can't LEGALLY copy the CD, except for a personal backup - which means you have to be in possession of the original as well.

hahahaha...it's comical that everyone's paranoid about copying the DVD/CD for NAV systems. Suddenly we're all internet angels

Guess you have no mp3/itunes files on your ipod that you didn't download for $1/song? Never downloaded a top gear torrent? Never watched unlicensed content on youtube? Never bought replica wheels for your car?

Gimme a break. I think if you buy the car, you should be able to get free updates on the nav software for life...never mind $200/pop. If you bought a car that didn't have a disc, it should be a 50 cent replacement charge by the dealer...EVERY car with nav was sold with it. Nobody's building Audi navigation systems blackmarket...the discs are just being used in the cars that Audi originally sold for $40,000-140,000. Thus Audi owes it to every car to provide the disc for a nominal charge, should an owner need it. How much are burned dvds...50 cents? Then that pic on the front...what's that..50 more cents?

What iPod? I won't let Apple force me into their closed DRM system. All the MP3s I have are ripped from CDs that I have bought.

Nope, torrents are the biggest source of spreading of viruses, trojans, etc. Plus they are monitored by ISPs and some users have already been cutoff, plus some Governments are about to make ISPs hand over those records and start criminal proceeding as an example.
