Just got a B6 A4 1.8T Help me mod!!!!!!!!

Its a stock 1.8T non quattro, CVT!! I know its the grandma setup but the brillent red, sexy B6 body for the right price, couldn't let it go . Its my every day driver and I want to make it a bit quicker. So what can I do for under $1200. Im looking to get around 250-300 horsepower. Is that even possible, will the CVT trans hold up, and what will I need. New turbo, ECU, injectors, Turbo, front mount. I was also looking for a new front aftermarket bumper send me some pics

no way youre running 300hp on a CVT.

Revo stage 2 and test pipe and you'll be fine for now.
You should have around a ~6.2 0-60

There are a few guys around here running BT's on a TIP but I wouldn't. Like others said, chip it, get a TP, and concentrate on making it look good. Get some springs, wheels, front splitter, tint, etc.
An extra 250-300hp isn't going to happen. I don't know if you can do a K04 or not with your setup but that may be another option instead of trying to go BT.

I've read that you cannot go bigger than a k03 for a CVT, otherwise you'll blow the tranny.

Yeah.. $1200 will get you a 1+ chip, injectors, and a test pipe... and maybe a TIP.
^^ That is good enough to make a decent improvement.

I've got all the mods listed in my sig and the car pulls really well. There's a vid of my 0-60 on here somewhere.

I'm going to do a k04 within a few weeks.. so we'll see what happens.

Another vote for a chip (big injector file), set of injectors, and call it done! At least for the budget you proposed. You wont be disappointed.

a FMIC will help a lot if you are in a hot climate.. with 1+ your car will get heatsoaked after one hard acceleration. most for CVt is probably apr 1+. test pipe/exhaust and a FMIC
