New owner of the 05 S4, homelink problems

    Hello all,

A few days ago, on christmas to be exact, i purchased an 05 S4. Car is a dream, but I can't get the homelink to respond.

Basically when I press and hold any of the buttons for any period of time, LED does not flash. Even tried holding I and III and still no flash.. Ignition is ON, and handbrake is ON.

When the lights are on, the homelink buttons do illuminate. I checked the fuse and it's ok as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

    Thanks in advance!

geez.. Lucky for me my passanger side headlight is not on the car as I had to dry them both out and apply grease to that o-ring and a few other places.
I'll look at that comptuer tomorrow, hopefully it can be "repaired" lol.

Thanks, at least I now know what is the problem.

I should have said destroyed by excessive water/moisture. I wrote down the part number, so i don't have to wait 15 minutes for parts guy to find it.lol.
