    Shift knob. Says its for an A3 but I would think it would work.

    And since stock boot is one piece with the stock knob and cant be used with an aftermarket one? Is that right?

    I know its for a jetta, but it looks like the same shape and they're both VAG cars...?

    ummm, all I know is that the a4/s4 knob and boot are connected, so I dont think this will fit. I am uncertain how the a3 knob is, looks like it twists off...

    I could be wrong, looks pretty sweet though

    I dont know, in this pic it looks like it has set screws on the base.



    Thats what I thought about the stock boot, thats why I was looking at the boot for the jetta.

    on the a4, the stock leather boot is actually "pinched" in between the pieces. The shift knob, slips through the top hole of the shift boot and clasps into a plastic piece underneath, locking the top of the shift boot between the two pieces.
