coolant temp sensor again!!

went to audi bought the clip and blew out again?? any ideas

did you install the o ring? What about the sensor is that new also or it's same old one that blew out the first time? Buy a new sensor with the o ring, new clip and try that.

Might sound stupid but if you bought a new sensor is it the right one? Make sure that the clip is installed right and tight in there.

Make sure you clean up where the sensor goes and get all the old o-ring out of there. I just changed mine and the old o-ring had busted apart and turned to jello. I had to spend a few minutes cleaning before I could put in the new sensor. That way you make sure the new sensor and o-ring have a clean sealing surface.
