ceramic tint

So my rear window was already tinted when I bought it. The am reception is nonexistent and fm reception seems to suffer also.

Does anyone know a shop that uses ceramic tint instead of metallic based?

I don't know of any shops in Chicago, but ask around for the Llumar brand that uses their ATX tint products. It's non-metallic but it is more expensive and worth it to eliminate reception issues.

i have llumar tint, with the GPS tracker under the tint, works just as well as outside. since i have car pc, i don't have the radio. i mean i could get a usb radio widget, but it's useless when i can steam internet radio while i am driving

Llumar is good product, i don't know on ceramic content however

Whatever you need in terms of car pc, don't hesitate to ask

benefit of car pc is that you don't have to dish out ton of money on high end speakers. since car pc audio quality is much more refined to begin with. it will beat any headunit on the market out there
