Car Alarms?

Has anyone put a after market alarm in place of the OEM Audi alarm or incorperated an after market alarm with the OEM one?

Back when mine was new I asked a car audio/alarm guru who had an Audi about one with remote start.He said the electronics on the Audi where to complex for the systems out at that time

Mine has remote start, but I'm not posting up the brand on here. Pretty much makes your car 100% easier to steal if the thieves know the exact kind of alarm they need to disarm.

It maybe the difference of yours being an 01 to my 04.Or the fact of what has come out in the last 3 years
