    I think it is sludge, what do you think?

    Also noticed this scratch on the inside. It's on the lower eight side of the pic



    This isn't my car, just one of my friend's that is curious.

    Milky white substance in the oil usually means coolant has mixed with the oil

    Condensation in oil.. likely not coolant

    That is the oil cap, that is not a milky white substance and I am just about 100% positive that is not coolant. The car is bone stock, no chip or bolt ons

    the milky white stuff on the oil cap is just condensation, typical of cold weather and/or regularly driving short distances, its really completely normal and harmless... as for the scratch - thats not normal, but the engine will still function perfectly fine with it there...
