I've used a similar bucket in my dring holder, but it was loose. I got a mounting plate made by Panavise from Enfig.

You remove the radio, attach the Panavise, and reinstall the radio over the bracket.

I got the 600. Attached one of the mounting discs from the GPS to the plate, and then use the suction cup to attach to the disc.

Just seems like it is kinda dangling there. Perhaps there is someway, since im guessing you want the cupholder to be nonfunctiuonal, to modify the tray to only come halfway out then mount the GPS more permanently. Then throw on a little bondo, smooth everything out, paint it up so it doesnt look like a cupholder anymore.

There is also a mount that clips on the A/C vent, not sure who makes it.

Panavise. Look up all the A4 pieces parts at enfig.com and they pop up. Living in the SE, I never block an AC vent!
