How to find options?

I am looking at a '07 with the titanium package and am wondering if there is a way to find out what factory options the car has? I'm not too familiar with what was available when these cars were new and the seller isn't sure.

But what would I do with the vin? Would a dealer be able to find that info for me from the vin?

Yes. The dealer can use the VIN to find all of that info. You could probably use google too, but I can't remember what info I was able to find with mine. You could also search google to see what options were available that year. If you have the Tit then you will also have the S-line and Premium I believe. If you have a big screen in the console then you have the nav. If you have little dials that go to six then you at least have the heated seats, but may not have the cold weather package. If you have the knobs in the back then you should have the cold weather package. You should ask about the bluetooth, satellite radio, and the flux capacitor (it let's you go back in time). You could also have the sunshades. I am not sure what else was an option that year, but that should be most of it. You will not have tilting mirrors for when you back up or memory seats. For some reason neither of those were an option that year. It really sucks and some day I will get that memory seat.

If you also have the factory sticker, you can just look on there and the it will list all of the options and the standard features.

Use both the VIN and the option codes, but that may not tell you everything.

I ordered my A4 3.2l 6sp 4-dr quattro (order code 8EC5P9) with these order code options:

Buried in these order code options is the S-Line package, Satellite Radio, iPod interface, Bluetooth, in-dash 6-disc CD changer, power glass sunroof with slide and tilt, tire pressure monitoring system, Homelink, Bi-Xenons, etc...

My VIN doesn't translate to those options using the URL below, neither do the Option Codes, so without actually knowing what to look for, and what the Convenience package included for a given year, getting this info may be challenging.

Then, in the spare tire well in the trunk, there is a sticker (mine is in the corner nearest the right taillight) that has a good number of 3-character codes printed on it, each of these codes specifies one option that your car had installed at the factory.
