Ticking sound?

Hey I've noticed that after i shut down my car there is a repeated ticking sound. I only hear this after i turn off my car. Not when i turn it on or during running. Some one please help! I also get a weird smell sometimes after a spin. It can't bee coolant since I had that replaced at the stealership. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

ticking is the metal in your exhaust cooling.
You're fine. The only thing you could be smelling is an exhaust leak.

Just get it fixed when you get a chance soon.

yopu have to be more specific... like where is the ticking coming from?

The metal contracting as it cools. The smell could be a plastic bag on the exh.

oh ok thanks guys. Yeah it does sound like its coming from the exhaust.
