    Newbie 05 a4 1.8t awd suspension

    ok people i just recently purchased my first audi its an 05 a4 1.8t auto awd w/49k miles... Now my quetion is i'm looking in to picking up some 18in usp wheels and in dire need of a drop. I noticed a kit online made by a company called sachs do any of you all have any feedback or infor on this company and setup..? what about bilisten shocks w/ a lowering spring? also what would you all recommend besides the above in question? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

    p.s. also plan on using the vehicle strictly as a daily.

    Search. Ive never heard about sachs, if im not mistaked they male clutches and etc...
    Whats your price range?

    ok... not looking to spend too much been spending far too much money in the past on several hondas and acuras... got out of that game so i can just get a clean nice daily driver...lol

    here is the thing... u can buy Vmax coilovers for like $550 i think, search for the thread.
    u can buy a good combo of shocks/springs for like $700 or u can buy decent coilovers for $800>.
    Also, u can always go with used setups for much cheaper, checl the classifieds.

    Sachs is Audi's OEM suspension supplier, so yeah they are good. For an inexpensive solution, look in the classifieds for someone dumping off their used sport suspension. 2002 sport suspension is the lowest. You should be able to get a complete used setup for around $200-300.

    also, go to a4mods.com click on the pic gallery and then on suspension! there are a LOT of pics with the suspension description and what size wheels.
