    Don't you think that it would be a good idea to post a thread like this before you bought them? However, I can tell you that the RS4 bar, 22mm, combined with my coil overs made a very big difference. Almost exactly that the description of what the H Sport Sway's do for the car. So I think you've made a wise purchase.

    Re: H sport sway bars

    most people put on rs4 rear sway only... but for a true track enthusiast, I think you've found the gold. Even though the A4 and S4 kits fitment should be identical, the link you sent us was for the S4 and the link for the A4 is: http://www.purems.com/products/product.php/II=725

    with the S4 kit you get a 24mm rear anti sway instead of the 22mm provided in the A4 package. The RS4 rear sway bar that the many people put is also 22mm. 24mm might be overkill... i recommend you call them and switch over to the A4 kit version... same price.

    I'm an expert (yeah right!).

    But I believe it's about keeping the car in balance. If you stiffen up the back of the car too much and don't change anything up front, you can run into problems. If you stiffen up both ends in general proportion, you can shift the balance of the car around to a more desirable position and still be fine. Having upgraded sways on the front will also obviously help with body roll too.

    Which is probably why he should have gone for the a4 set.

    The s4 has a different ratio than the a4.

    S4 = 29mm front - 20mm back
    A4 = 29mm front - 16/18mm back

    But then again changing the ratio to favor the back of the a4 has never really been a bad thing.

    Ok here is the run down

    If you get A4 ones for the car, the car will handle better then before but it will still have the hated front wheel drive effect.

    If you get S4 ones for the car, the car will handle better then the A4 because it feels more ballanced. It will not feel like a front wheel drive car. you get more of a mix between front and rear. Just like it should be.

    If you get RS4 ones then the car will act more rear wheel drive. Thats why this is a very popular track setup. It give you more control if you know how to drive it. Car will step out when you need it to and if you have the power you can keep on the gas and control it.

    I vote you should get the S4 ones as i have drive all 3 setups and the s4 one seems the best balanced and controlled. Because you dont want your front to come out and you don't want the rear to come out on you when its wet either. Moderation is the key.

    Re: H sport sway bars

    Yes....but the S4 and RS4 have different torque ratios for distributing power then the A4. Therefore, than can induce oversteer safely. Putting those bars on an A4 would make it so the rear end could come out...but I think it would turn out to be more of an uncontrolled fishtale. IMO, it's more unsafe then practical to throw massive after market anti- roll bars on our a4s..with respect to the s4 and especially RS4 bars. There is a reason they make sets for each...

    Ya they make the A4 ones for drivers that just want the stiffer feel but will never push the car to get the performance out. You can believe what you wanna believe. Even the RS4 ones are not over kill if you have the power to push them on exit.

    The whole B6 forum is running s4 ones. And some guys with power run the RS4 ones. When i called Hsport and i told them i will do some Auto X and that i have coilovers on the car and have custom alignment, they were the ones to recommend me S4 ones. It will put more control in your hands vs the A4 ones that are just for people who want stiffer street car but will never use it.

    thx bro thst how i felt about it it was balanced and when i talked to hsport they also recommended the s4 ones .... they said because the front bar is now 35 mm ... making the back only 22 it would still have understeer .... making the front 35 and the back 24 would help to rebalance it out ... truthfully i will never really push the car as hard as its gunna go in order for it to break lookse in either direction .. i just really like a stiffer ride in general .... time will tell they day they come in im gunna put them in and ill let every1 know how the drive feels

    from what I've read above, I'd say you keep the S4 ones and regardless you will be happy as hell with them.

    Re: H sport sway bars

    There are some people on here that have blown their rear endlinks with just the 22mm rs4 rear sway. The stiffer the bar the more stress it is putting on the endlinks. Unfortunately there isn't a company that makes upgraded endlinks to solve such a problem. I find this rather strange because most upgraded sway bar kits come with upgraded endlinks...
