Title pretty much says it. I've been throwing CEL P0171 and replaced my check valve. Today I noticed that the vacuum line before the N80 was loose and that I could freely spin the N80 around inside the vacuum line. I put a new clamp on the line and had Autozone clear the code -- yes.. I know it's time for a VAG Com.

I'm hoping this is the fix. The only other thing I can think of is that the MAF has pooped out finally. I can't get the stupid connector off to see if the idle changes when the signal is removed from the MAF. Without testing there I am going under the assumption -- I hate making assumptions -- that it is a vacuum leak and that's why the car is running lean.
