    Got around to calling the insurane company to get my windshield replaced. Does anyone have any suggestions, and if so are they open today? I really am in the mood to get it replaced ASAP.

    Not sure about the oregon area, but I had Safelite Auto Glass repair 4 of my chips from my windshield and they did a great job. Took an hour for all 4 chips. The smallest chip was a nickel size and ranged up to a quater. They were really professional about fixing my chips, so i presume their CS should also be great for replacing an entire windshield.

    I presume Safelite Auto Glass is a franchise so there should be one in your area.

    I'll check them out.
    There is a place out here offering a $150 gas gift card, but I don't know if I should trust them. I don't know if there's a difference between windshield quality, or if they're going to do bad installation.

    kind of off topic, but do insurance rates usually increase if used to replace the windsheild? The reason I am asking is because mine has been cracked for the last year and a half and I was in a minor at fault accident 6 months ago in which I used insurance and I don't want my rates to further increase because of a windsheild replacement.

    Does anyone know of any shops that use OEM glass? When I was in AZ, I had my windshield replaced in my A4, at Tuscan Audi, and it cost my insurance company $1000... I need a new windshield in the S4, esp after all this snow/gavel, but don't wanna pay $1000....lol

    Jon at All American can provide a few options; OEM glass with the Audi logo, the same OEM glass (ie from the same factory) but without the Audi logo, etc. Give him a ring Mike.

    I've used Glass Works for the last 5 years....great service and great guys!!...they deal with all the insurance.

    Sure did! Awesome guy and awesome service, we actually ended up talking the whole time as he was doing the install lol. He really took his time and did a great job, if you guys ever need any glass work on your car definitely hit him up .
