Well look no further - 034 is the pit stop for engine tranny mounts. The rest is up to u basically. Folks might be put a little on the spot without a spending limit for ur items. After all it is "ur shopping", have u tried the website sponsor ECS Tuning to get a "FEEL" for the prices. There are dozens of brake options out there. Everyone here can recommend something different... that wouldn't help. From ur description I would say B7S4 front brake upgrade for a smooth everyday driver with ur future turbo upgrade.

Also I'm not doing "upgrades" my stock ones are messed up - i think maybe warped and just want to slightly upgrade perhaps

im not going BT on this car anymore (should probably cchange my sig) but i'm in HK for a year - 2 years and when I get back i'm buying another a4 or an a5

So all I need are some drilled / slotted rotors and pads that will be as good or slightly better than the a4 - nothing too crazy like bbk

Okay

1) Mounts from 034 - but which one? I don't kknow which tranny mount ... they have liek 3 different ones

I can't decide between ECS, Adam @ SPP's rotors or Brembo Slotted Sport from Tirerack ....

what do you guys think? Is brembo really worth teh extra $60 for front + rear?

Actually the 2 main different 034 engine/tranny mounts I know of are:

1) Street Density - Quite a bit stronger than stock and are not fluid filled better for a stock feel with virtually no engine vibration
2) Track Density - Stronger than Street Density. Noticeable engine vibration.

I would say call them up and ask to speak to Dan but I believe they are on Christmas Break. If they look that different are they for our car? or for a completely different one. They are only human after all they had the B5 snub listed for the B6 for a while. It wasn't till I walked into their shop that they produced the Apikol... so... who knows??? The only real choice is the one I posted earlier::: Street/Track Dan should know about any "new" stuff they have.

034 is out of street density mounts and as far as I know, they do not have a solid date when they will be back in stock.

I have not heard anyone complain about the quality of their mounts. You should be able to get the tranny mount right now

I run the RS4 mounts and after one track event they sucked just as bad as the stock mounts.

I have the street density tranny mount but others say the track density works fine with no discernable roughness.

034 has track density engine mounts in stock, (they do not have the street density engine mounts) however you will most likely feel noticable vibration, especially at idle.

They are a performance part, so there is a slight trade off to sacrifice performance over comfort.

The vibration is nowhere near as bad as a misfire, but you will feel it slightly in your hands on the steering wheel, on the shift knob, and if you have a soda can in the dash cup holder, you may here a slight buzz through it.

Once the car is moving, there is no difference whatsoever.
