    K04 Logs and some real ugly CAPS

    So I did a little logging tonight and here's what I got. I didn't realize you were supposed to log JUST 003, but you get the point. CAPS came out to be 8.215. Pretty slow but the car isn't in the greatest shape right now. In the next two weeks she gets, APR TIP, front mount, bosch red tops, adjustable FPR, PC16 tune, testpipe, plugs, fuel filter, and I need to do a pressure test. In the mean time here ya go, 42 degrees and raining.

    I bet if you put a wideband on that thing you wouldn't be very happy with what you see.

    Wow, the injector on time is already at 15.49ms at 2400 rpm and stuck at 16.32 the rest of the way. So basically the ECu just opening the injectors 100% the whole time.

    Any band-aid options for the injectors before I get the PC-16 set up, I was a little worried about that as well. I'm pretty new to logs and such and am still working on getting a full understanding of everything. Also I'm working on picking up a wideband to go in with the test pipe. And by the way this car is running the recommended 5 bar FPR for the GIAC K04 program, any other input...

    have you logged your 02 sensor readings(block 031) lately? Maybe even read your fuel trim readings which is block 032.

    More logs, I really need to get this figured out... 42 Degrees, raining, half tank of gas with box and sub in the trunk.

    I have you beat. My misfire problem is opening hitting 17ms injector cycle.

    Maf readings are good and peaks at 6700 rpms. After searching for other dbw K04 logs it seems your readings are just like some of the others.

    Here is a log from a PC16 setups, his injectors readings are maxed out the whole run.

    Wow... it seems these early tunes really sucked -- they just opened ish up and sent you on your way.

    Well thats the funny part, you would think the car would be super rich down low and then slowly lean out as the rpms get higher. But as you can see that doesn't happen at all. So what does that say about the "injector time" readings on block 002?

    Ya can someone shed some more light on the injector time, I'm still fairly new to a lot of this and would like to figure it out. I'm confused about the PC16 log because that set up runs 310cc injectors at around 2.8 Bar so they can't be maxed out. I guess thats just what the tune calls for, although it doesn't make much sense. Also based on those o2 sensor readings how can you decipher a/f readings. I will hopefully have a wideband on soon to make this a lot easier.

    Says exactly what I always say -- Inj on time means nothing without the other variables.
