So boredom led to a friend of mine and I heading down to a parking lot that we know never gets plowed. This spot has been a prime setting for our hoonage for nearly the last 15 years.
Today it was me in my basically stock 2.7T 6-speed Allroad and him in his Jeep Grand Cherokee V8. I raised the Allroad up to suspension setting 3 (4 is the highest) and turned off the ESP.
I am still super impressed how well the Goodyear Triple Tred All-Season tires do on the Allroad. It goes, stops, and corners as well as my S4 on Dunlop Wintersport 3D's. The only weakness I've seen so far is that they seem to be prone to hydroplaning on slush. Otherwise, they seem great for a car that doesn't need a "high performance" tire in the summer.
