Changed my split-r from hybird to 100% Bov, no my car idles like shit.

I clogged my TIP and set my splitr to pure bov, and now my car wont start, not a problem, easy fix i can change it back. But can anyone explain the reason to me? figured i pulled something when i was down there, but its all good!

Sounds like it might be opening at idle.

cannot for the life of me figure why... should be installed correctly... and its set to medium (like 25 of 52 clicks)..... so idle should be just perfect afaik.

too much gas and no where near enough air. thats a no-go unless u have a FMIC

well, i do have a FMIC. i thought btw that bov should only affect the car when it was discharging (let of the throttle). I tried the car for a short test and it ran like hell, backfiring and everything under acceleration. Anyone up for explaning it so i can take some wisdom from this? :)

If you run full BOV with the splitter you have to switch around the ports. Block of the horn side with the supplied block off and put the horn on the recirculation side

I totally did. The Pipe previously going into the TIP was replaced with the BOV open thingie. And the other port blocked, and the one in the bottom going to the fmic pipe.. Shoult i should be all cool.

i did this in the process, earlier today.. when i actually changed from hybird to bov. I havent changed anything since then, will be installing to full recirc again tomorrow.. i just dont quite understand why the car acted as it did

What are you talking about? A BOV and FMIC have abolutely nothing in common other then both being parts in a turbo car.
