so ive been looking at kits on ebay and came across this....




ive found it under rsd and otto areo designs....who really makes this kit? is it a replica? if so of what kit and is anyone using it? what are your experiences

its an RS4 rep kit, most likely from Reiger unless its a cheap knockoff. The RS4 kit for the B6 doesnt have the slits in the front bumper, its cant be done cause of the way the fender and bumper line up. They only have the slits on the B5 version...I know, I had both :p

There was never an RS4 version of the B6 so it is not an RS4 body kit. It is a replicaof the old Reiger kit that Reiger no longer produces.

Ya looks very similar to the Reiger kit...
has anyone used this...whos car is that? I dunno about you guys but it looks pretty nice, the only thing i cant seem to like is the fog light area cause its seems unfinished? but do you think its worth the hassle, im thinking of changing up the look this spring

Yes everyone knows there wasn't a RS4 B6, but that's the name of the Reiger kit. RS4

I'll be honest with ya, its a bastard to put on, but it is beautiful when its done... the stock rear bumper has to be cut in half and the kit piece epoxied on...and the same with the sides, the front and back part of the stock pieces have to be cut off and the sideskirt piece epoxied to the stock side to be able to take advantage of the way the oem piece mounts, the front is not so bad though lol....i do agree with the fog light area, but it looks better in person. you could also paint the vertical part black so it blends in better or cut it off all together and scrap the fogs and put mesh in there...

Looks like this if you cut off the fog light mounting on the kit. Personally, I think it looks the best this way.




Also, with the reiger kit, you're going to have to mold the fenders a bit to make them flush with the bumper. The bumper is wider than the B6 fenders.

The rear bumper looks ugly as piss, worse than the Votex. Im feeling A4 Moda's though

a4 moda's doesn't look bad in black. he must have used a good body shop to get the fit right.

but in general i think the reiger or replica reiger kits look awful. i have never seen one that fits correctly and their ends up being gaps all over where the bumper is suppose to meet the fender.

i find it looks tits...for real, a4moda..you dont have the side skirts?....its looks like theres been alot of work done to make it fit well. How much did the shop take for that magnificant work?

600 i think, with everything molded and fitted, painted, and installed.

This included painting the sideskirts, and installing my rear spoiler.

I really don't like sideskirts.
And they always scrape even if you know how to avoid scraping the front and rear. The sides always scrape.

yeah, ive got a version 1 rieger front/sides coming and i'm not looking forward to how hard it'll be to get around lol.

it's easy right now because i don't have half my front bumper, and i only high center on one lift @ work. (don't scrape the sides anywhere else) but i won't make it on ANYTHING after those skirts go on lol
