Best brakes for front wheel drive 04 A4 3.0?????

If someone could please tell me the appropriate and best brake pads for my 2004 A4 3.0 front-wheel drive. I drive alot in snow and ice and need to replace my brake pads. Should I use ceramic?? I'm new to this so help a brutha out. Thanks for your input

since you drive alot of snow and ice i think step 1 is getting a new a4 w/ quattro.

on a serious note there are a lot of great pad options. brake pads are a very subjective thing. I am sure jeremey from Matrix (Forum sponsor and great shop) will chime in soon.

Appreciate the input. I wish I could buy a new A4 quattro!!! Some day soon hopefully. But for now gotta work with what I have.

Stopping power is the most important. After that it doesn't really matter to me.
