    So what does this intake consist of? From the pics, it looks just like a filter replacement.

    jstrat85, I did consider the PPI. I looked at the way its been put together and all they have done is added a filter to the original factory filter housing, the one I have is made out of aluminum designed for directional air flow (you can't see it in the picture).

    Each to their own.

    Are you using the PPI on your R8?

    hi guys,

    I got a lot PM's about the intake asking what was the difference with the stock filter. The housing on the stock filter is made out of plastic, on my intake its made out of aluminum for directional air flow.
