    when i turn on the heat in the car it makes a really loud hummming noise coming from behind the glove compartment. dont know what it is, can anybody shine some lite for me please??

    sounds like its the blower motor. when you turn the fan all the way off the sound stops right?

    yeah it sounds like the blower is outta wack. not sure if theres a DIY on how to get to it but it might just need to be tightened if not replaced

    you can just wd40 the motor and it will stop.

    ok so today i was driving and my heat was blowing low but it was still on high, it still has the noise to it too, does anybody know of anything please??? would it work if i WD-40 the thing???

    did you try the wd-40? you keep asking for more help and we have no I idea if you tried the easiest solution, besides it's already been said if that doesn't work replace it

    Ferpete'sake get the SOB fixed. You have a FAILING BLOWER MOTOR just like folks said. Now, calm down, take some ludes, and get the damn thing fixed.

    It's not an easy fix. You can ignore it. Panic is pretty disheartneing, especially after folks chime in with a reasonable response.

    Have you by ANY chnce looked under the hood of this thing, read the owner's manual, and done simple responsible winter maintenance. When was the last time you checked the oil BTW?

    don't use wd40 unless you want to destroy the motor completely. It will mess any other lube. Use a silicone based lube. It won't break down and is resistant to moisture.
