    Just installed my Christmas gift. The difference in weight is astonishing, and the size difference made me crack up. I thought I could wing it without a mount kit until I actually got it in there. The Braille weighs ~11lbs, I will get back to you about the stock battery's weight.

    I went and rigged me up a mount which consists of a shipping box folded up between the battery and the firewall, holding it in place. A mount kit from Braille costs $80, so i'm going to be fabbing something up instead for much less.

    While I won't be winning any bass races with this battery, it has a more than sufficient amount of cranking amps to start my car. It's the 6lb. battery they offer that you would have to worry about, but it's labeled track-only use. I plan on getting rid of my electric seats soon anyways, so the battery's not going to have that much demand on it anyways.

    That thing is tiny. I thought a 20lb battery was light...

    In all seriousness, that comment reminded me; our stock batteries have a vent on the positive side that has a hose hook into it, which snakes down under the ECU. Weird...
