    Suspension upgrades for UrS4?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Looking for some input on what to pick up for suspension for my 1994 S4. I don't need anything too crazy like coilovers, just something to cut down on the pitching/diving under braking, roll in cornering, ect. I would like to see something like a 1.5in drop or around there.

ECS tuning has what seems to be a nice setup with H&R springs, bilstein dampers. But, i'm not a big fan of ECS, plus they have been out of stock on this setup for like a year?

    Any insight would be great!

I have the HRv8 springs and either Koni or BOGE dampers but I cannot remember and the car is in the shop!

034 has a nice coilover set up for these cars, or 2bennett has coil and shock combos that can drop your car from 1.2-2" on all fours.

That's just springs/shocks? That's as low as i'll need, perfect. H&R "race" or "street"? I've heard some tales of front H&R springs breaking? Any info on that? As far as the coilovers, talk about bending over and grabbing your ankles! It's not going to be on the track everyday. Maybe some weekend trackdays, a couple trips to the dragstrip, thats about it.

I sugest you you Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks. It's proved to be excelent choice.

The box says... 1989 Audi v8-> D11 and possibly a parts number of 22910

I have H&R race springs and Bilstein shocks on my car and I am quite happy with how it handles and looks. IF you search my username, you can find a pic of my car on here someplace.

Looks about right. I'm waiting on a price for FK coilovers (with adjustable koni dampers), so it's either the FK's or the H&R/Koni setup. I'm sure either will be just fine.

Honestly I would not bother with coilovers unless you plan to corner balance the car and really drive it hard (or track it). A good strut spring combo will be just as good and probably cheaper.
