    Installing an armrest

    Hi¨

I hve an Audi A4 B7 without armrest in the middle. I would like to add such an armrest, and i got an offer by my Audi-dealer to install it. The price i got was 950 USD - very expensive i think.

I went to ebay.com and saw, that i could by a new armrest for approximately 25 USD.

I dont know how simple it is to install it by my own? Have someone in here knowledge to this problem, or maybe someone could refer to an installing manual?

I think I am only going to remove the rear ashtray, but i dont know?

it's pretty simple. it's only 1 bolt. you just pop the ashtry out, and you can access it. but if you have the tech package, there are also 2 plugs that you will have to use. 950 is pretty expensive. i think it was about 550 for mine for the tech package armrest (has the phone connector inside) on my previous b7
