Injectors for the good old 3.0

As most of you know, im rolling in the good old 3.0 a4... Love it, great motor for the b6, but I need some more ponies! Not interested in S/C it or Turbo-ing it. I have the shitty CVT tranny so anything to powerful will just strip the teeth of those CVT belts.

People on AZ talk about the TT injectors... Whats the hype on those?? Will they fit in my 3.0?? Will they do anything?? What injector options are available for my car, and what gains would I see?

Sorry to be the one to burst ur bubble... but even if in fact u do get injectors that fit u will need the ECU programming to take advantage of them. Therein lies the problem for the B6 chassis in general especially for the 1.8T crowd the hardware is sooo far ahead of the software.

Yep u will run rich with black smoke and stuttering... that is only IFFF the ECU is able to compensate enough to keep the motor running It might not run @ all.

Even if you did tune for them it would be worthless imo, because you wont have any additional air to make more power.

^^ See I wouldnt mind doing something like that except from the fact I run into the same dilema... ECU has to be flashed! AND the CVT tranny would loose all its teeth

here is what you can do, sell your car and get a cheap 3.0 Quattro and 6 speed is a must!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the tuning is not that much of an issue, someone I know can do the software for you.

the only issues will be Money(a big big issue), and patience.

doing a big project takes a lot of patience.

p.s. you can run Siemens Deka 60lbs injectors if you want, they are $45 each from ebay, but then you need a tune for it. that won't be cheap because no one is willing to tweak/write a software for you when they see there is no market for such software. it will be a complete waste of time for them.
