$7900 seems a bit high though. I don't care about the mileage, that's ~$1K too high for a car lot.

if i were you i would try and find one with sport suspension. body roll on that is going to suck trust me i have non sport suspension it sits higher than my parents minivan. i paid 4500 for my 98.5 i think for 7500 you could get a nice 01 with the ko3s and you can get a hammer file for that

K03 is the stock turbo on the A4. An upgrade is a K04 turbo (more power) and another upgrade is the GT28R turbo. There is also BT setups (big turbo) which are GT30, GT32, GT35.

ko3s = k03 with different compressor wheel for higher output. available stock on 01 and up. the advantage of the 99.5 car is that it is aeb engine which is has the large port head and stronger internals, while still having the facelift body. read the faq. id post a link but im lazy so....

anyway the year is right, it just sucks that its not sport susp. that can be fixed but you gotta buy aftermarket suspension. definetly check to see if the timing belt and water pump have been done. also inspect the brakes and upper control arms, as well as cv boots and any fluid leaks. if timing belt has not been done, i would at the very least ask them to take off that price (the cost for you to have the belt replaced at a audi dealer ~800-1200 USD) before you consider purchasing it.

it doesnt have a different compressor wheel.. the shaft is 1mm thicker so the factory upped the boost from 7 to 10 stock. you can take a pre 01.5 car, turn the boost to 10 psi and be just as quick as the 01.5.. the cars make no more power when chipped then the other. some tuners do add more boost to the 01.5 but they make the same power at the same psi and tune.

now, i'd personally NOT get that car.. no bose! creame interior sucks! that car is worth ~5000 tops if you know what you are looking for.

Wow thats a pretty unique car isnt it... Its a 99.5 with a single-din radio like said above, it also doesnt have the instrument cluster screen and it has a 4-spoke steering wheel.

thats not unique, 99.5 had single dins and the lcd is only an option, was from 97. even 00-01 cars can have the plain cluster. also 4 spoke wheel is because it isnt a sport model

he does live in maryland...shit is EXPENSIVE there compared to michigan...but it still may be a little high

Its very clean!! but from what i could tell it looks like the odometer screen is pixalating but i might be wrong. But ya that is a little high you could probobly get it down tho.

its the same car as mine when I got it stock. That is a bit steep with the mileage. got mine with 50k miles 3 years go for 10k...with sport package. Try and find one with the 3 spoke steering wheel and stuff.

its because while people walk around the lot looking at cars, some people pocket shift knobs. I work at a dealership and we take the shift knob of some cars that we get in, as some cost $100+ OEM.

Hell i wouldnt mind having another B5 Shift Knob to re-upholster with something else.

Ok so basically keep looking or get the price down.

Also I do want a B6 but to much money.

But you said if it has a 3 spoke wheel then its got the sport suspension right.

you could also get a s4 or a 2.7t manual a6 (sleeper status ftw). look for one being sold cheap because of blow'd up turbos and upgrade.
