Hi ya'll, I tried starting my car today and it will not start. I hear a studdering noise on the dash and break pedal is stuck/frozen. Check engine lights and other indicator looks fine, I even tried the check engine button on the dash and it gives out the amber OK sign. Any ideas ?

CEL says OK, I am confused myself. Couple days ago I did hear beeping noise after I start the car, but there is no CEL warning so I checked the forum and most states that its the key FOB battery. Now I am not sure anymore, the keyfob still working but cannot start car. Thanks

you sure you vag the car?? because indicator say's it's okay it doesn't mean there is any fault on the car.

Have you recently replaced the battery on the key fob?? if so you might have to re-adapt the key

Do you think all of the coilpacks are bad? I mean, wouldn't it still start if only one or two are bad? Thanks.

No actually I don't have the means to vag the car, I thought about doing it at kragens autopart/ dealer but my own fault that i kept delaying it and now the car will not start.

If the fob battery is out would I still be able to unlock the car? I can still unlock it at the moment using the fob. Also what does it mean to re-adapt the key?
