i broke a nipple for the vacuum hose, towards the front of my intake manifold. and i tapped the nipple and closed it. now the nipple on the back of the intake manifold has 2 T flitting to correct the problem. 1 going to my boost gadge and one to where the broken nipple went. Now i have 2 codes, i am still in limp mode. check them out.

Have you cleared them to see if they return?

I did the same thing to my car except with the back nipple - it broke off like warm butter, I don't remember getting any returning engine lights though. Just ended up buying a used manifold. Your options are to get it threaded for a new nipple or find a used intake manifold.. which shouldn't be hard.

    Re: kinda broke something

yea i did clear them and they still came back, i wonder if changing the coolant sensor could give me these codes, in the 2001 1.8 there are very hard to change an i think i might have dammaged it.
i just want my damn car back. damn limp mode.

You have one nipple connected to the n249, fuel pressure regulator and boost gauge? Double check your connections, better yet replace your intake manifold or get it fixed.

I doubt your coolant sensor has anything to do with the codes, considering both codes are fuel/air related. But if you still have your old sensor, that didn't throw those codes, toss it back in and see if everything checks out.

do u think it could be the sensors themselves or maybe i switched them bc there are 2 sensors underneath the manifold.
