What did I do? Need Insight

Ok so I went drifting around in deeper then usual snow. I was deep enough that while driving, the floor would be dragging on the snow. So what happened is my 2.7 all of a sudden sounds like it's got semi open downpipes, but just the right bank. Is it possible to knock off the flex mesh before the cats and rip it open a bit to make it sound like that? I'm wondering if that's what I did, or could it be something else.

Anyone have something happen like this to them?

I had something similar happen on my old A4(1.8t with 2.5" catback exhaust) while driving in snow or slush a few times. All of the sudden the car would roar like it had open downpipe or something. It was loud/deep enough to make my cellphone(by the ashtray) rattle and vibrate around. Then, all of the sudden it would be back to normal.

I still have no idea what caused this.

yea, found out it was the exhaust sleeve after the cat. It got knocked off. But apart from that I have to buy a new throttle position sensor....merry x mas to me.
