    Oily windshield, how to remove.

I am not sure what the p/o did to the car as far as cleaning. I use a good wash all around, then use invisable glass to clean all my glass and then i apply rain x to the windshield.

there are spots that when it rains, the wipers go over, but only certain spots leave nasty oily spots that i cant see through. What can i use to get ANYTHING off my windshield so i can have a clean slate again?

I would try cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol and see how it goes, it will remove wax so it should take off whats on there, if not, you may need to go to something acid based, but that can be dangerous if you aren't careful.

Make sure you clean the blades as well. They could have picked up some "gunk" and are just redepositing it with every pass.

i'm changing the blades today to rain x blades. which is why i wanna get the windshield cleaned off so its not constantly trasnfering shit from 1 surface to the next.
