Long story short my under body trans shield, pass side foot well shield, and one that runs the entire length of pass side (under the seats and floor) were demolished by ice falling off a semi last Friday. State Farm says they won't cover it under comp and I'm not paying the ded plus getting dinged for a "collision" as it wasn't. Been round/round with them on this for days now. So, wondering if there is a place I can buy them other than the dealer. That way I can put the car on my lift and fix it myself.

Have you looked on ECS? This seems like it is a common occurance as there was a thread on here last week and many people have said they've ripped off their underbody plastic. Many of them said they just took off the broken plastic and left it uncovered. I suggest doing the same so that you don't go and rip it off again during the next snow storm... At the end of winter you could make your decision as to whether you are going to replace it or not.

I believe winston@podi chimed into the previous thread and stated that he is looking into making aluminum sheilds for the undercarrage to replace the stock plastic ones. You might want to send him a PM and see what he has to say about that...

The only standing start, straight line racing I enjoy is on the way to the first corner.
