    Stock HID bulb question

    Has anyone ever changed they stock HID bulbs to a higher kevlin output such as 6000k without changing the stock HID ballast?

    you don't need to change the ballast in order to go to a higher kelvin.

    The exception is when the aftermarket bulb still has the AMP-style connectors.

    just remember the higher the kalvin the more light you lose.
