Let's Start A Group Buy for Vogtland Coilovers!

Anyone down to try to get a good deal on Vogtland coilovers? (GT or Standard version). Consensus: Stasis StreetSports are too soft and OEM-like. Vogtland coilovers offer a stiffer, more performance-oriented ride.

Re: Let's Start A Group Buy for Vogtland Coilovers!

Sent this to the guys at StartupRacing...

I saw that an Audiforum member in Canada (avantquattro) posted an ad over a year ago for a GB for your Vogtland GT's for B7 A4's. The price was $1050. There are currently a number of members from Audizine who would be interested in these. If I rounded up 10+ members, does the deal stand?

I'll let you know when I hear further details....

AE Performance is doing one and their prices will be great. I have been in contact with the for the last week or so. They will be posting the prices pretty soon once they get confirmation on prices from Votgland.

    Startup Racing Reply:
We have been running $100 off special on Audizine. All of our prices
have dropped slightly. Right now the price for the GT kit is $1299 down from
$1350. So with the Audizine special you are looking at $1199.
    http://shop.startupracing.com/produc...1&productId=43

We also have the brand new StartupRacing Vogtland Grand Prix suspension, it
is height & rebound adjustable, that is selling for $1614.
    http://shop.startupracing.com/produc...1&productId=44

To use the $100 off coupon, use "audizine" when you check out.
    Mike

So....on Purems.com the price for Reg Vogtlands are $1203 and the price for Vogtland GT's on StartupRacing.com after the Audizine special is $1199... Where do you see Vogtlands for $1050 on Purems.com?

Re: Let's Start A Group Buy for Vogtland Coilovers!

So looks like Reg Vogtlands are $1203-$125= $1078+Shipping on Purems.com and Vogtland GT's are $1199+Shipping on StartupRacing.com. Are GT's worth the extra $121 by the way if you dont ever plan on tracking your car?

yeah that's why i went with startup gt's on my b7. i had stassis on my b6, but i only paid less than 1000 for em at the time. the same suspension is now about 1200. for that price, i went with a stiffer spring rate on the startups and love em. i do have a gremlin that changed the height on me when i installed new rims... but the startups are a breeze to adjust, esp the rear compared to stassis.

I guess there is a lot of demand for them...I bought mine right before the price increase.
