Thinking of the new S4, of course. Since the rotation of the charger is controlled by the engine, boost is directly related to RPM, or at least a function of it. Chipping a turbo car involves changing the boost settings (RPM, load, gearing, etc.) and boost controllers, so you can get higher PSI and it can come on earlier or later. I'd think that you don't have too many things you can change electronically on a supercharger to get more power...
